the calvary has arrived
those of you that have questioned my adversion to doctors pay close attention. $50 bucks. that's what i spent yesterday to have my doctor tell me
exactly what i had just told him and for him and to write me a script. so essentially i paid 50 bucks for a small white piece of paper with some chicken scratch on it. gotta love the medical system here in the states.
40 bucks. that's what i paid for 14 tiny white pills in a pumpkin orange bottle. you'd think they were selling gold or sips from the fountain of youth.
the good news is the tiny white pills seem like they might just do the trick. yep..this is me climbing aboard the ambien bandwagon. although it might be a bit premature since i took my first pill last night. while it didn't kick in quite as fast as i was told it would i did fall asleep before the sun rose and woke up this morning feeling quite refreshed. almost...and i stress almost...like my old self. i did start to feel what i'm sure the side effects listed as "drowsy" but would be more aptly described as exhausted a few hours later. short nap (which they advise against) and i was good as new. here's to hoping...
